The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.

SASSA will be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed about the higher variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area daily. The services level made for intervention activities a large influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for the Workplace to read more attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more means to permit the servicing of all clients and maximize entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
